My name is Michaela Barcelos, and I am an Administrative Assistant II at BWH. I am a first generation college graduate whose parents immigrated here from Portugal. I am originally from the small town of Westport, Massachusetts. Growing up in a coastal and forested agricultural town fostered my love of nature, and of biological sciences. It led me to pursue degrees in Natural Resources Conservation, and Environmental Science and Management. I strive to make a positive impact in the world by being environmentally conscious, and by expressing kindness and compassion for others.
